wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
back from comn serve.
not extremely tired. but my mum keeps commenting i've turned a shade darker. but i see nothing wrong with myself. hum. seriously.
well. the kids were cute and they had plenty fun at the playground playing with sand sand and more sand, and the playground. so ultimately we dint really have to chase them around, but more like guard them from getting sand into their eyes. yeaps.
labrador park is so nice and serene. quiet. nice place to barbecue. but the only way to get in there is either thru car or cab. cos it's very uluated. which explains the missing crowd on a saturday afternoon as compared to east coast and west coast, and prolly pasir ris. but it is very nice, taking in the sea breeze and standing along the coastline, admiring the horizon with plenty ships passing by. the jetty looks nice standalone and yeah, it just has this nice peacefulness that attracts me. yeah. i think i like that place alotalot. yeaps. nice place to go to.
najat refused to go home when everybody was leaving. kicked furiously when gab carried him. and conveniently plonked himself on the pavement when everybody was leaving. initially we walked way ahead of him, thinking that he would run after the group when he saw nobody familar around. but noo, the stubborn one sat comfortably on the pavement and looked around, showing no signs of movement. so chrystal walked back first. tried to convince him to get moving. the three of us joined her shortly. and he still refused to budge. oh wells. gab tried to carry him, and he started kicking. again. and gab had to suggest how about we remove his sandals to make him run after the sandals. it only prompted najat to kick more and hit us. what a wonderful suggestion. grin. only when sandra came along and forcfully but gently carried him away, then was the group able to move off.
no doubtedly a tired day, but a meaningful one, with wonderful companionship.
trying to have an exco outing on 260604, with the only absence being ping khuan since he just got himself locked up in the intial 3 weeks of OCS. grin. that is provided we can get in touch with dephne. yeaps. wonder if she's in singapore now. the 3 of us were thinking of going k-ing and going back to amiran's cafe for dinner. our exco favourite place for dining since we went there for both jts-s for 2 consecutive years. hee. nice place with wonderful atmosphere and food which sya can consume as well. yeaps. and the special memory of one uncle commenting last year that we treated the cafe like a coffeeshop, resulting in the junior guys giving the 'wanna fight' look and the seniors trying tremendously hard not to laugh. vaguely remembered weixiang saying something in retort loud enough for the uncle to hear, but i forgot what he said.
oh sigh. the wonderful memories that i would wanna relive.
time flies. whine.
