THE LAKE HOUSE

im not sure if there are any spoilers in my entry, but to play safe, if you havent caught the movie [im sure no one has, cuz we caught the earliest sneak preview today!!!!] please dont read the following. unless you dont intend to catch the movie, which i very much doubt so.

does that mean no one's gonna read this entry? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. sobs.



anyways.
the lake house is beautiful. foolstop.
the lake house is romantic. foolstop.
the leads of lake house are gorgeous. foolstop.

it aint no comedy, so dont go expecting to laugh and cry through the movie. go watch click for that. i think. planning&hoping to watch it with the gals when it comes out. and and i wanna watch too fast too furious too! but i wonder who's up for a speed action movie. we all figured we're actually kinda tired of the action blockbusters that have been coming out this summer and the lake house provides a refreshing change to it.

there are still some loopholes here and there, as me and joyce were pondering upon as we made our way home from jurong point this evening. JUST in fact, as im blogging as soon as i got home. but the overall effect is good, IF you dint watch il mare before that is. im sure some of us had, for i can still remember critics talking about this movie a few years ago, right when the korean drama/movie hit the older auntie generation. keanu reeves and sandra bullock are superbly pretty, with wow-some acting skills. its like, girls can drool over both the leads [girls DO girlwatch okay. im straight -.- ] during this movie. and i sorta admire how lonesome yet admirable bullock gets in this movie. its the kind of loneliness i want sometimes [SOMETIMES only]. serene peaceful and quiet. alone to a quiet lake house, together with a dog that seems to know what she's thinking about.

i love the way she connects with both alex and kate. i think she can read minds. and i love the scene where kate was playing chess with jack! awwwwwwwwwwwwww so cute! such a cutie pie. (:


i give the lake house 4 stars. it aint perfect, but its gorgeous. the architect, the leads, the scenery, the lake house + jacks commands you to pay $9 for the ticket. :)
