reached home at 2315 yesterday and dint quite felt like coming online to blog but im blogging now. did plenty of things yesterday and today. i mean, yesterday was potter day. or at least, the sneak preview of it.
and put it honestly. the movie to me was a disappointment. i mean, the effects are good and all. but the plot aint there. prisoner of azkaban was my favourite book of the 5 books rowling has came out with so far and they had to leave out soo many details and skip over so many parts of the book. i mean, i understand that many details cant be covered in a 2hr 20 min movie, but the very essence of the storyline should be retained and told to the audience in a convincing manner. aint it supposed to be that way, like lord of the rings? many things were left hanging and unexplained. if you were to really watch the movie, just enjoy it as it is and you will realise you have many unanswered questions unless you read the book and if you had read the book, you will be left indignant at the amount of details they left out. it is just a plain disappointment to me. i mean, the ending was horrible. no proper conclusion as to what happened to sirius. for all the rest know (to those ignorant ones who dint read the book) sirius flew off on buckbeak in the middle of the night and never made contact with harry ever again. and wopnt ron make a fuss about not having a pet like harry and hermoine? i so wanted to see 'pig'. as in the small little owl that delivered sirius's letter and consent form to harry and was a small little pressie from sirius to ron for making him lose 'scabbers' but no, that wasnt present. they prolly thought of it as nothing. redundant. but it's not. potter fans would want to see a proper conclusion. at least i would. sheesh. i understand if the story was to be a tad darker and moodier as compared to the previous two movies, fine since voldermort was supposed to return to power in this book but i believe there was no need to twist the storyline to such a great extent isnt it. oh sigh. was disappointed la. but i guess the company last night made up for it. all girls outing, with ruoling xinxin venus yanlian jingwen maria and with eileen and sijia joining us for dinner. had tons of fun suaning and playing the fool with xinxin. in fact, i already had fun in the afternoon when me and ruoling went to roam simlim in search of my digicam. thank you ruoling. *wide smile* and the short period of time when we stepped into sakae at heerens just to eat a $1.90 sushi roll each. well, that was tea. grin. i had fun yesterday la. but the movie. oh sigh. maybe they should come up with a separate closure for the potter movie. stop making the fourth movie. have a different one so that we dont know what to expect and have nothing to expect. yeaps. thats a plausible suggestion i suppose. but then again, they are going to change the director again for the next movie. herm. never mind. not that they would pay attention to what one potter fan says.

went to the hair salon again today. to colour my hair. grin.
before anybody complains or make noise, i have to say that the black colour portions which were newly grown looks irritatingly out of place with the coloured portions below, hence the decision to go colour my hair. yeaps. so sat in there for nearly 4 hours. and before that my parents and i went camera-a-shopping. but the rates they were offering for fujifilm finepix A420 was nothing compared to simlim. i'll pop by the PC show tmr to see if there are better offers there. usually at PC shows they have special offers bundled together with freebies so yeah, i decided to hold my urge to rush down today to simlim to get the $450 finepix camera. grin.

oh yeah. im starting to take up driving lessons. note the word starting. i havent started yet. went down to BBDC to register for the basic theory test. which is going to be on 300604. my parents insist i go for private driving lessons. well. i guess im fine with that provided they find the private driving instructor for me. grin. whee. im finally starting to learn how to drive. since i have plenty of time on my hands. so why not? lalala.

going hiking tmr with ruoling sarah and jingwen. and after that PC show. and hopefully i get to exchange phones with xinxin tmr for a while for the fun of it. and xinxin, i'll make sure your phone doesnt step into battle. unlike mine which has already came out of battle, quote unquote what daniel commented. humph.
