wow. smu has plenty of activities for us in july. there's not a day whereby there's nothing going on. im staring at the events booklet now and they have a calendar made for the months of july and august, and everyday is filled with something on. they dont have camps camps and more camps, and even for their camps, they're quite short.. all 2 days 1 night camps. and i signed up for two! one leadership camp on 23/240704, and one accounting camp (or they call it 'retreat@sentosa') on 30/310704.. and the comn serve i signed up for is enough to keep me rather busy.. this project, we're dealing with children aged 2-6 years old (my goodness, i love kids at that age.. hum. =) and we're gonna teach them how to save up.. the project name is "child at street 11".. ahhh. so happy that this is a long term project. whee. first meeting starts on 100704, and plenty of meetings after that.. one big day would be 290704 cos they would come down to smu to playy. whee. =) so happy. die. gonna be damn shacked from 29-31 july. gonna stay in good condition to skip my hype running for those 3 consecutive days. whee. and. and. and. (of course, there's always an 'and' somewhere..) im going to get my laptop on next tuesday!!!!!!!!! whee. IBM thinkpad T41. everyone is getting that cos that's the best buy. yeaps. placed my order today.. lalala. =) so happy. wahahahaha. first time i've been sooo happy in ages. whee. whee. whee. whee. whee. fine i better cool down.. met a coupla familar faces today and learnt that one fellow hc councillor, janice, doing smu accountancy too.. so we signed up for the retreat@sentosa together.. so funny, cos she went ahead first and told me to call her when i reach the room so that we both could register together and we both niao-ed the guy who was trying to convince up to go for the camp upside down.. grin. wah, but the number of guys there are soooooo little. as my mum was saying, out of 100 people, it seemed to her that 98 were girls and 2 were guys. in my opinion, i think there would be 10 guys out of 100 people.. really, they were like the rare species there la. sheesh. someone can feel safe and comforted now i suppose. grin. but the standards not too bad, most not too bad looking. wahahaha. and the girls are like damn bloody chio, and damn skinny.. my goodness, i feel like a fat ass standing right beside them.. and they were all sooo prettily dressed up today and here i was in plain white sleeveless and hot pink 3quarts. with slippers. hem. i know we were going to take photos for our smu student card, but it's almost like a IC phototaking session mah. need to dress up with makeup on meh? hum. people there seemed relatively friendly.. and hit off utterly well with 2 seniors there when me and joyce were signing up with the comn serve project, cos those 2 seniors were rotaractors. ehm. im not surprised if i end up in rotaract again.. but i wanna try so many other things.. like, SMU BE(broadcast and entertainment) when i can try to be a radio DJ or do emceeing.., Toastmasters when i learn to articulate and brush up on public speaking.. little league and tritouch where there's more comn serve to be done =) E.y.E where i start on investing (wah damn cool la..), rotaract (as usual.. hee.) and SMUicon.., and United Nations!!! ahhhhh. how how how? i can try them all initially i suppose.. but sooner or later i'll have to drop them.. ah we'll see we'll see.. whee. boing doing boing. busy busy busy. wheeeee. =) happy girl. very very happy girl. =)
