worldcup@dawn's place
woot super fun! 10 of us were down, crowded in dawn's place playing mahjong, ktv-ing [courtesy of jy's cds and dawn's ktv system in her living room], playing cards, eating macs and having the occasional drink. baileys is super super [to the power of infinity] nice! dawn yinpin jy and i went out to west coast macs right before the start of the match to get macs for everyone, and since both yp and jy drove, we took their cars! the way there and back was like a race from the start to the finishing line. the silence and emptiness of the roads saw a manual toyota vios [jy's] and bmw [yp] racing down the long road at speeds of nearly 120. super shiok! every turn was fast and exciting, im like woooot holy shiok! and jy's manual car skills are like O.O pwhoah! lol. to think i thought jacob's driving was bad enough, i saw better [or worse?] ones this early morning!
the start of the match saw 10 people huddled in front of the tv, with the majority of the group supporting italy [hurray italy won!], 2 people supporting france and 1 lone ranger supporting the ref [LOL]. the first half was exciting, but the 2nd half was boring to the pits where italy seemed to have stopped attacking. even the guys were half tempted to switch sides and cheer france on. and i was dozing on and off, alvin was snoring like a pig and dawn was curled up sleeping. at least i dint miss zidane's wonderful " header" which got him sent off during golden time hehe. and i watched the penalties!
left her place at 6am to catch the morning bus back to come home and sleep the morning away. zzzzz.
but twas really fun!

BOSS
argh. out of 3 bids i got only 1. yay i got taxp! but i paid a hell 35edollars more than the lowest bidder. like wtf seriously.
and im doubting my choice of wanting to bid for lawforgene when BOSS1A starts because it doesnt seem popular and im fraid the class may be cancelled in the end. >.< the worst thing that could happen was for me to miss my AA bid. what the hell la. missed by 2edollars. urgh. damn irritated lor. BAHHH. now its time to relook at courses, modules and timetable. im damn irritated.

my phonebill for the month of june [aka china time] has arrived.

sigh. too much calling home, calling friends and and too much of everything.
only consolation, my parents are gonna foot half the bill, and me the other.
now im 130bucks poorer. there goes half my pay for last last week's teaching. :(

hence im not in a particularly fantastic mood now.
its like.. aiyah whatever la.

and i feel like moving again.
i feel ... exposed.
i'll update when im settled down elsewhere.
