had meeting in the afternoon for asoc, met elaine jialing shawn jossiah and chloe..
apparently chloe reminds me of venus. hahaha. grin.
we had loads of fun talking and dissing each other, and i had a mudpie at nydc! ahh i missed the mudpies at nydc.. elaine and jialing went for proper food, but on consideration that i was meeting shuz for dinner i gave it a miss.. hehehe.
i wonder how tactical warfare will be, but its gonna be damn fun! :D

met shuz after that at city hall. wahh my feet were simply killing me. cuz i thought since we were going to the esplanade to watch theatre performance, its more right for me to appear in heels. and so i wore heels and by the time i got to citylink, i was hobbling around due to the horrible blisters inflicted upon me by the stupid heels. urgh.
and so i ended up buying a nice pair of classy slippers at charles and keith for only $19.90. man, great singapore sale is timely for me to buy nice shoes and save my feet from further agony!
and that's my first purchase for GSS and mark my words, it aint gonna be the last. muahahhaa.

walked around, gave yixin a surprise at where she was working! :D hahaha. she looked so blur and stoned lor.. and then to my surprise i saw zhiyu working at the cookies place right next to yixin's working place! zhiyu was complaining i dao-ed her cuz she said "nana nana" and i dint react.. hee paiseh la i dint hear mah..

then we went over to esplanade for Amber!

"When they first met, Gao Yuan thought he had seduced Xiaoyou. In fact he was the one being seduced. As one who toyed with others' affections and someone with a Don Juan outlook in life, Gao Yuan was unwilling to accept this yet he was truly attracted by this unusual girl. Before and after making love, she would always sprawl on his chest, listening to his heartbeat,
Xiaoyou is a guide ar a museum of natural history. She spends her days with dinosaurs as her companions most of her time. Her tranquil appearance hides an inferno of emotions and a never to be revealed secret. Her story is a strange yet simple one. After her fiance died, she has been keeping a close eye on a man named Gao Yuan. She cannot resist seducing him, for the sake of listening to the beating of the heart of her late fiance.
These two people, united by a single heart, developed their love story in a life of chaotic clamour and absurd cruelty. One is arrogant and unfeeling, entirely bereft of belief; the other is persistent in finding a miracle in a fragile life. They both speak with words that come not from their hearts; they both go against their own nature and torment each other. Nevertheless they fall deeply in love. "

wow. the performance was fantastic. at one point in time, i fell heads over heels in love with the male lead, Liu Ye, who was acting as Gao Yuan. he looked fantastic from where i was sitting and his voice.. *swoons* hahaha. anyways the acting was wonderful. just that the chinese was a tad too cheem and they, being chinese mainland actors, spoke rather fast, such that i often found myself glancing at the sidescreen where both chinese and english translations were being done. the transitions were smooth, but till the end, it felt like a typical romantic production to me when GaoYuan emerged from the brink of death due to XiaoYou's confession of love. It dint manage to end with the big bang that i was expecting.
but nevertheless, i can understand why it was so well received in hongkong and china, cuz the acting was really fabulous. really. the music was fantastic as well. main reason was because the music was crafted by yao chien, the famous songwriter in taiwan! wahhh. saw him in person yesterday. hehehe.
well worth the $50 bucks.
i love being a student when we get such special concessions :)
more shows at the esplanade!
cant wait for dimsum dollies. think i'll laugh until i peng lor.
wahahahs.
