at the same time i am organising and typing my sister's history notes.

and smsing at the same time. i think, if i were on the phone, i cant do anything like the above.

and i finally saw huang junhui since she came back from warrick!
went to her house today, and all 6 of us were there :) got treated to her home cooked pasta (yummy!) and she baked peanut butter cookies for us (yummy!) hahaha.

was telling my mummy about me going out on thurs and fri and my dad grunted. to the extent of showing his amazement of how i can make appointments to go out in just one morning.
and i realised this morning that scolding students can have its after effects. yea it took me that long to figure that one out.
just scolded one class for not paying attention today, went back to staff room and realised junjun called. so i returned her call, and i wasnt in a very good mood after scolding the students. and i kinda snapped at her. sorry babes. :/ and for the rest of the day, my mood dint exactly lift because the students were either stoning or dint do their work. bahhh.

i am supposed to be setting paper now, but i think the laptop has a bigger allure on me. oops.
for some reason or another, i feel very tired today. think work is getting to me.
serves me right for nua-ing for 5 entire weeks.

as national day arrives, my area becomes noiser. no thanks to the fighter planes flying off and landing at the _________ air base. no idea where and what name it has. count that together with the construction works outside the house which is irritating me at the current moment.. ahh. please dont make me snap at my sister due to my foul mood. :/

day 1 of work ended, and as i suspected, i am teaching the sec ones history. 6 classes of history. ah. and 1 ss class, and 2 cme classes. sounds good, pretty good. :)

everything was so messy today. none of them brought their text book cuz there was a timetable change. damnit. :/
its okay, lessons will resume tmr. in fact lessons already started with 1E1 today. as expected because i knew most of them would bring their texts, and i had a 2 period class with them.
i never had so many 1 period classes in one day before. and there will be more tmr. gahh.
will give a small surprise to one particular class whom i've taught before tmr morning :)
1st period. bet they wont expect me to walk into the class.

it felt weird today. there i was in the same class (1E2 and 1E4) but the faces were different. the ones whom i was used to, had already moved down one level to being 2E2 and 2E4.
if i happen to go back next year again to relief teach (major IF), i'll be seeing them as sec 3s. my goodness. oh yea.

everything was fine after.
so i went out with joyce and we hit the mango shops as the mango sale was calling.
boy, i hated the crowds. it was fun shopping with joycie, but the crowds was such a turn off. argh. i only bought one top after we went to 4 different mango branches.
we shopped a little at zara though, and i bought 1 3quarts and 1 spag top. ooh i love the white spag top. and to top things all, i got a free milan 2012 tee shirt after spending $60 worth at zara. mm me a free walking advertisement? lets pray that milan wins the IOC so that i can have a chance of wearing that shirt, if not i'd look like a dork wearing a non-existant olympics event. hahaha.
so i got myself 3 tops and 1 bottom after spending $80. quite worth it. hahaha.
ooh and we got yy something. something she has been eyeing at mango every since a long time ago, according to joyce. hope you like the top dear! :) and i think the size should fit. but i still think she can wear a S. hahaha.

then met ruoling to buy bbq food. boy we had such a fun time shopping for food at carrefour. :) buying and testing food. hehehe. then we snacked a little [as usual. :/ ] at the food court at suntec while waiting for the shuttle bus and venus came to join us! talked and bummed around while waiting, and the more they talked, the more i felt as though i went to the wrong uni.
i know smu is a nice place afterall, but somehow there's a nagging feeling in me that i somehow dont quite fit in.
i listen to venus describe her camps, the people in there and yea i found myself thinking, that's the sort of people i'd like to be around with. with xinxin, venus, ramnik..
and then i've been interacting quite alot with ruoling and her sheares friends, and i often think to myself, if i had come to nus, i would have been like ruoling and stayed in sheares hall.
but no, i chose to come to smu, and i am still glad for the close friends i have here, people like elaine and yixin, who will always remind me of the type of friends and people whom i can really click with, and ya, feel totally at home with.
sigh. sometimes i'd think, if i had a choice to go back in time, i think i would have either went nus or ntu. either with ruoling, or xinxin and venus.
somehow, sometimes, i just cant leave the past behind. sometimes only la ya.


anyways. bbq was fantastic!
it was an all girls thing, and venus lee pei hui was our master chef! i hope we all dont die from food poisoning tmr. hahaha. even though the turn out was small, the company was fantastic. people like ruoling xinxin venus wanyong sijia and yanlian.. thank you yanlian for coming down for just a mere 45 minutes even after your lesson which ended so late.. we got a surprise call from jinyang, another sick cat, who felt guilty for not coming down for the bbq, and wanyong was commenting he was nice enough to call and ask about the bbq. hahaha. unlike dewen who disappeared even after he said he will pop by. yea right, my foot lei. :/
the food was great, we all felt bloated after everything [have you ever felt bloated after a bbq? the only time i did was during our LTB bbq. hahaha.] and we managed to play a few rounds of bridge! me and ruoling still make a great pair. hahaha. you know what i mean la. grin.

rushed home at 11 plus from aljunied and took the mrt with xinxin.
and of all people to meet on the mrt at raffles place, i met the jps 6A guys. 4 of them. pengfeng vernon desmond and enghuat. walaus for what reason i dont know, vernon turned in my direction the minute they boarded the train [same carriage somemore lor!] and saw me. first thing he said, wah ���� haha not funny lor. diaos. and they kept sniggering for god-knows-what reason. blearh. i thought i would have to make idle chat with them when we alight at jurong east mrt together, take the same bus back and share the same lift with vernon yeow. but surprisingly, they dint get off at jurong east. heng ah.
try and act innocent? cant fool me. avoid eye contact, hey i can do that too. hmph.
next time i dont have to worry about having no buses at midnight to go home. feeder service 334 and 335 leave the interchange at the last time of 1am. woohoo! hahaha.


ooh and one more thing.
today is the last weekday i can nua and slack properly.
because, officially next monday, i start work again.

teaching what subjects and what classes i have no idea though.
all i know, is im teaching lower sec history. i think and i hope they should be more controllable.

spent most of the day curled up on my bed, snuggling amidst the sheets, with the aircon blowing directly at me.

XXX got exams, YYY no exams. ABC is good, XYZ not good, dont bother.
you know, and we take into consideration all these information.
and guess what, everyone turns out bidding for the same modules at ridiculously high prices.
and i have heard of [i am not naming names here] a group of 12 friends bidding for classes together.
like what the hell?!?!
they make up like, one third of the class already if they get their bids?
ridiculous. simply ridiculous.

as you can tell, i am tired of bidding.
i thought i had settled my timetable once and for all this afternoon, and was looking for nice chats on msn tonight. but apparently what smu people [including me] have on our minds are BOSS, BOSS and more BOSS.

its scary to realise, how one sentence from one particular person can cause me to lose sleep for the entire night.

you know, i've never looked forward to my bed ever in my entire camp through my series of camp.
what an interesting experienc it was, sleeping out in the open, subjected to the sudden winds and downpour at 4plus in the morning. lightning blinded us first, and then came the onslaught of winds and rains. was shivering like mad under shu's poncho which me and wanyu used it as a replacement of our blanket. and the wooden surface, gave my back a hard time sleeping comfortably.
ouch.

but all in all, camp was fun.
i still love vnc though. with camp christine right in sight across the roads, it brought back plenty of memories. awww yea i know.
campland was tiring. and stressful, looking at the dynamics of my group. half the time, we were doing crowd control. but the girls are really really sweet. and it was fun teasing elisa about the famous eye candy in campland, jerel. hahaha. the way she FHC was so cute, and she claims she loves me. ahhh. joking la.
the beyond staff were really helpful, enjoyed working with vincent and rapti as rangers, jerel for his advice and encouragement, and joshua for being the clown and help during campfire :)
of course, not forgetting lee fong and far, they were so nice. you people are great! :D
games were fun, i managed to get out of one unscathed, and we dint complete our last one because of internal conflict. rapti and jerel had to settle them, vincent gave up on them. sigh.

it was nice spending quality time with shu and wanyu when they went out for nightwalk and we stayed in cuz i was simply too tired after campfire, having to be "high" and egg people on.
we shared chocs, crapped and had a girls talk session. twas really fun :)

for a third day in a row, i've been going home at 10 plus 11. really quite tired le.
been going out for 3 days in a row. and there's still two more days, monday and tuesday.
meeting roo tmr, and hopefully xinxin and ruoling on tues :)

went for FIR concert at IMM this afternoon..
was supposed to meet ruoling at the main entrance but i was distracted by the earrings shop which was selling chandeliar earrings at 3 for $10. hee.
then we met her friend declan to get tix to enter. quite a funny and nice guy..
wahh. humid weather, and crowds. did i mention i hate crowds?
the songs were alright la, but the style is always the same. our area was targetted by security cuz the auntie in front of us refused to close her umbrella until some fierce black guy shouted at her from far back.. and then declan's friend yawned, and kena-ed suaned by zhiyong, the yes 933 dj, cuz he was too tall, and zhiyong saw him yawning. hahaha..
felt quite queasy one hour into the concert and i felt like puking. my ears were totally blocked and i couldnt hear myself, nor breathe properly for that matter.. so i squatted for a while, for fear of fainting on ruoling, and declan offered me bi ba sweet to see if i would feel better and the sweet did help. [thanks dude!] then a while later i really couldnt tahan le, so me and ruoling left the crowds to grab drinks at macs and slowly made our way to the busstop where we waited for 502.
took alot of pictures on the bus [YEA MY CAMMIE IS BACK WITH ME!] while the bus rocked its way down to suntec where we were supposed to meet the class for dinner. turned out everyone was late, so we both ended up going for suan la tang at the food court, and there we pored over issues and problems that we still face as a class, and as friends amongst ourselves. pretty shocked when lixin said she wasnt informed of the dinner when i msged her :/ so dint get to see her in the end..
met jinyang and yanlian first, and yanlian gave us swiss chocs and me a birthday present! whee i loved the pressie, a nice nice wallet. thanks girl :)
then we settled for kenny rogers after dewen appeared cuz we had to wait for 1 hour for nydc and jinyang couldnt spare the time as he had to leave at 830 to book back into camp..

and after venus sijia eileen came down, the class dinner discussion focused alot on relationships.. like who is together with who, how did who get to know who..
i mean, i guess it was natural considering more than half the class is attached now.

wanted to watch movie, so we went all the way to cine cuz i thought the movie tix at cine was still at $8.50. alas i was fooled by cine, and the people there told us that with effect from 18may2005, cine orch also raised its tix price by the respective added charges. basket. cheat my feelings. :( and i refuse to pay $9.50 to watch a movie on a weekend when i can watch it for $7 on a weekday. a $2.50 difference is a hell lot of difference. not including the fact that i'll be watching two movies on monday and tues with roo and ruoling respectively..
so we slacked off at tcc, i took a drink, she took a set meal.
and.
the cashier was blur enough to give us the wrong bill twice!
first i gave the game away by just being honest! i was like, erm this is not correct, cuz the bill only counted my drink.
then kailyn sorta chided me for giving the game away.. hehe. so i was just casually commenting, maybe he might make another mistake again.
this time round, the bill came and it was still wrong! he merely added $3 more to the bill and i stared at it. we hurriedly paid and zao0-ed out of the place, laughing our heads off after we were of a safe distance away from Tcc. hahaha.

walked about for a while before heading down to the amara at tanjong pagar because mok said there was a jap restaurant there having 50% discount for ala carte.
the food wasnt fantastic la, but it was okayy lor.

ahhh. if i stay at home, especially during the evenings, i usually end up watching tv from 7 to 10. man. i just sit in front of the google box and watch. and watch. and watch. but its not a bad thing la.
as in, time passes very quickly and i dont really have to think much.
and it would be nice to snuggle up to someone on the couch and watch tv together. it sounds like a nice idea, just that i havent tried it before. watching tv, snacking [preferably on chocs or icecream? ] hahaha.

im just a very simple person. simplicity is nice. and sweet. trust me.

ooh. and i finally opened a uob account, after procrastinating for a long time. and signed up for the campus account, together with the campus card, and the uob visa mini debit card. whee. been wanting the visa mini debit card for a long time but i dint get down to opening an account with uob. but i did it today when i went out with my mummy for a while to boon lay area :)
cant wait for my cards to come.

and there's budak pantai tmr night! finally :) and i get to see kailyn, again :D

wheee horse riding was fun today!!
we got to ride horses, one to each of us! its damn fun riding horses with friends, and to complain about how temperamental our horses are.
like jialing's horse loves to smell butts, and it follows the butt, resultting in jialing not having to kick with her heels..
and elaine's horse refuses to budge even after elaine gives it 5 hard kicks using her heels.
and my horse, blue topaz, likes to kick! and it injured elaine's horse in the process of kicking and gave elaine a fright nearing the end of the lesson.
and how yixin's shirt got stuck when she was in the process of dismounting the horse. heee.

but really, horse riding today was damn fun! walking the horses, guiding them how to turn in the directions we want, halting the horses, getting on and off the horses [thats the scariest part to me cuz i was given the biggest sized horse! cant help it if im the tallest yea. muahaha.], and yea, bringing the horses back to their stables.
only one word to describe it, shiok!

gonna learn trotting on friday. and this time round, we're gonna be early. like real early. hahaha.


and there's dance later! supposed to meet ruoling at 5 at PS later :) whee.
going for dance fitness. and see if we can tahan jazz after that. whee!

so no need to feel that guilty after spending bout $100 on my new nike shoes yesterday.
maybe i'll go and buy that nice pair of nike slacks which costs almost $80, and an adidas jacket which is btw the range of $80-$140. i shall think about it first.

the month of june = +ve outflow of money, -ve inflow of cash.
spent so much on learning new things, like dance and horseriding. [about $400 there..]
spend so much on hongkong trip [it was one full lump sum of tuition income, nearly $800 lei.]
spent so much on repairing my camera [about $250 or so..]
man.
in total thats.. approx $1450.
i could have gotten a O2 pda-phone with that amount of money!
argh. and i still wanna change my phone. and hopefully get a pda.
i shall wait for tuition income to come in.
well at least for me, i spend alot on one item because i will insist on quality, knowing myself. but i dont do that often. hehehe.
at least i've cut down on my purchases of books.
if i was back in jc, i think i would have bought the two newest books by crichton and grisham without thinking. and that would amount to almost $70.
cant wait for 160705. harry potter and the half blood prince!

i introduced blogpatrol to my sister, and she gets so excited when she sees the number of visitors increasing by 1 or 2. i kindly forgot to tell her that whenever i check my stats, it increase by 10 odd 20 for my unique visitors. hahaha.

went out with mummy to jurong point just now, she wanted to shop.
when we were around the food area just outside jurong point, it made me think of last night.

yea the exact same pair which i was bio-ing in hongkong that time.
its cheaper in singapore! and i bought the silver orange one. typical mee. hahaha.

expensive retail therapy to make myslef less tired. dint work.
i literally dragged myself to every single store mummy stepped into to browse for clothes.
for once, nana not interested in shopping. or rather, i was only interested in sports gear. haha.

was in my quest to look for my adidas jacket, saw one damn chio black one.
but price very chio also. even after the 10% discount it was about $90. blearh.
but at least this price better than the adidas jacket we saw in town on saturday, $139. *faints*
i will not stop in my quest in looking for a nice and not so expensive adidas jacket.
but i want a nice light chio adidas jacket! someone save me.

think the brain workout yesterday really burnt me out. ouch.
im still really feeling very tiredd. and tmr there's horse riding in the morning, dance in the evening. the thought of dragging my body out of the house makes me ill. ouch.

it was nice, albeit most of the time spent was spent staring at maths.
differentiation, integration, APGP, basic matrix.. the gauss jordan elimination [this reminded me of eileen and jordan.. hahaha.]
wahhh. all the alevel maths coming out..

besides that, i havent sat down and studied maths for 8 hours straight before. not even when i was revising for fmaths. wahahahs.

really brings back the jc times.
how i miss the class, and the nice memories.

especially when i was staring at integration by parts and substituition. i nearly wanted to call ruoling and ask her to revise and go thru with me how to do them exactly.. hahaha. im almost hopeless at it le.. argh. how can i forget my maths?!? urgh.

suffered from a-plenty of horse hairs when i went for horse riding today. cant help it if the horse was all over the 4 of us aint it? sounds kinky. HAHAHA.
anyways, went for horse riding lesson today, saw a damn pretty horse called star of joy, and he was pretty much mild. until the point where 4 of us were trying to put the bridle on him and he got so pek-cek with us, he started nodding his head violently, resultting in us scramming to safety. our instructor alex looked pretty amused with us.
and after much efforts from 4 people, we only managed to successfully put the birdle on ONCE. well it was quite a feat when you see four girls clamouring and twisting the strips of leather all over his head. no wonder star of joy got so pek-cek with us. hahaha.

was soo tiredd after dance yesterday and horseriding today, i left for home after lunch with elaine jia and gina at bugis.. and i was counting on taking a short afternoon nap in the afternoon to rejuvenate myself cuz i was really really tired.
BUT.
john j nance was too thrilling and i couldnt put his Medusa's child down. erm. so i ended up finishing reading the book, and yea, i dint get that afternoon nap of mine done. OOPS.
and then i was being so wuliao, me and timtoh were competing to see who has a faster typing speed. mine has improved to an average of 70wpm, but tim is freaking scary! his typing speed is about 120wpm, nearly twice of mine. madness aint it? but my accuracy is better than his. MUAHAHA.

wahhh. 5 books down, currently reading one, 3 more to go. to think i borrowed these books on sunday? :D think i can make another trip down to the library again. maybe.. monday. or sunday. see how first la. hehehe. ruoling commented, people may sell their souls to work, hall [like her lor. :P ], camps [i.e. tan lixin]; but for me, i seemed to have sold my soul to reading. oops. aiyah cant help it la.

ruoling suffers from the former, nana suffers from the latter.. how bout szeyi? hahaha.

wheeee. had hell of a fun time dancing hiphop today.
so fun! even during the times when i screw up and miss steps, and end up sticking my tongue out at claire, our instructor, a damn pretty chio slim lady. hahaha.
had a nice chat with dino before and after dance class, and i must admit, that place gives me a nice warm feeling. very friendly.. :)

was nearly convinced by ruoling and szeyi to join them and another of their guy friend to go for free spa opened by leslie kwok. ruoling even put me on the phone with the guy la.. aiyah dont wanna go la, so extra.. sooner or later i'll find myself hanging out with ruoling and her friends from sheares lor..
